Oli, a baby owl in Pasir Ris Park was learning to fly after many painful
tries. With perseverance and the encouragement of Baby King he succeeded.
Together they learned the importance of not giving up when learning something
challenging.

Stari’s Wonderful World

This story takes place in Chek Jewa, Pulau Ubin’s
intertidal zone. From Stari the sea star, Baby King and Myrtle the turtle, heard about
the threats the beautiful sea creatures faced from visitors who destroy their habitat
and take them away. It ends with a call to just admire these sea creatures and
protect their habitat so that more people can see them.
